Structured Data Capture (SDC) was formed as part of the LMTOM Programme to assist in the realisation of a modern, digital marketplace. As an automated solution, it is used by managing agents to convert market placing documents into data, specifically the ACORD GRLC standard.
Over time, SDC has evolved as the sole source for delivering placing data to Lloyd’s Europe.
Looking forward, SDC will continue to support the desire for a digital marketplace, working in collaboration with service providers and Lloyd’s initiatives.

SDC is a business condition for Managing Agents using their Lloyd’s Insurance Company (EEA) stamps, where SDC converts documents to data for the Lloyd’s Europe PAS.
